Jaya Vaasavi Matriculation Hr. Sec. School was established in 2015-16 by Jayam educational trust having 30 trustees. The main objective of this educational institution is to impart quality education blended with moral values and cultural development to all the students residing in Alangayam as well as in the 50 villages in this tribal region. The motto of this school is “EDUCATION FOR EXCCELLENCE” in this academic year 2015-2016 the Tamil Nadu government granted permission to commence the classes from L.K.G to VIII standard. This school is upgraded as High School in 2016 and it is further upgraded as Higher Secondary School in 2018. In the academic year 2018-2019, In this institution 1,259 students were studied. From 2018-2019 till this academic year the school is producing 100% result in 10th and 12th . In our school, Students are provided the opportunity to learn the 3 languages of English, Tamil and Hindi. In our school Literary club, Science club, Maths club, Eco-club are functioning to develop the students in co-curricular activities. Students have given comfortable transport facilities about 18 busses which move around 50Kms everyday to pickup as well as to drop the students. The Teachers are extending their excellence services to tap the talents of all the students. The English department is taking all the efforts to improve the spoken language every year. Abacus is followed to promote the efficiency in working out mathematics. The school has well established computer lab which has 24 systems. The High School and Higher Secondary students are given enough opportunity to develop the practical skills in the well organized Chemistry lab, Physics lab and Biology lab. The school has a large sports field where students are given Athletic training and also provided play grounds to practice basketball, volley ball, Throw ball, Kho – Kho, Shuttle badminton and cricket. The management maintains a very cordial relationship with parents as well as teachers At least 2 or 3 times in a year parent-teachers meetings are held to upgrade the academic standard of our school. Our school is providing equal opportunity to all the students irrespective of their community and religion. The parents are always very supportive and offer their appreciation to our teachers observing the education growth of their children.
