Our school, Uma Matriculation Higher Secondary School, was founded by Honorable Mr. M. HARIDHAS on 2nd June 1995. Mr. K. MAHADEVAN, the correspondent of the school. The mission of our School is to provide each student with various educations, a supportive environment that promotes self-discipline, motivation, and excellence in learning. Our School team joins the parents and community to assist the students in developing skills to become independent and self-sufficient. The school can be proud of its faculty members. Yes, The teachers are well experienced. The aim of the school is fixed forever at the maximized teaching through the modern curriculum to make the students equal with their counterparts at cities. Our school is recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu. In our library, the collection includes books, newspapers, magazines, reference materials, CDs, and DVDs. The school subscribes to over 6 newspapers, 10 magazines both English and Tamil. Our school has Audio-Visual (smart class) hall. They are studying through pictures, so they can easily understand it. We have a computer lab also. School offers computer science and information technology. The school maintained Physics, Chemistry, and Biology Laboratories. Our science laboratories with a capacity for fifty students to work concurrently, provide the space, equipment, and safety standards that allow high-quality practical work in science learning to happen very effectively. Our co-curricular and extra-curricular activities include elocution, debate, short story writing, drawing, music, dance, drama, sports, games, charity work, organization of exhibitions, a celebration of festivals, etc. The school has provided facilities to the students for playing Cricket, Carom, Volleyball, Basketball, Shuttle, Kabadi, and Chess. Students also actively participate in Yoga, Dance, Bharatha Natyam, Karnatic Music, Karate, Silampam. Our school campus has in 1.5-acre with 400 sqft classrooms and 600 sqm labs. We have a 3-floor building, the surroundings full of fresh air. We have wide classrooms with fresh air, spacious playground for the students. Each floor has washrooms and restrooms. We have a separate water tank for drinking and handwashing, a broad staircase, network connection, CCTV camera, comfortable desk, and benches for students. Administration board members listen to the students' everyday activities through CCTV cameras. Our school has sufficient transport facilities. We are conducting an educational tour every year. Guideline programs are frequently conducted in our school.
