LEAD History and Milestones

The foundation of LEAD was based on two simple principles: empathy and innovation. Empathy, to provide world-class education to all Affordable Private Schools of India; and innovation, to upgrade traditional education with proper planning and technology.

Founders Sumeet Mehta and Smita Deorah envisioned LEAD as a solution provider, identifying basic educational problems and crafting solutions for the same. Since then, LEAD has been living the vision, transforming education, and providing solutions for all educational stakeholders – parents, teachers, students, and school owners.

Starting with a handful of students and just a vision, LEAD today provides educational solutions for over 2,000 schools, 10,000 teachers, and 8,00,000 students across 20 states in India.
