How is Math taught at LEAD?
Concrete
All concepts at a primary level are first taught using physical objects like blocks, dice, or balls. This touch and feel method ensures better understanding of concepts and a stronger foundation.
Pictorial
Figures and drawings are used to solve math problems as a next step. Creative expression and connection to real life are the goals of this stage.
Abstract
Once children have a better understanding and stronger foundation, they solve actual math problems using only numbers and symbols.
